Desigual Fall Collection

Desigual has always been a brand that comes up with quirky, colorful and fun clothes that make you stand out without trying to hard. In fact, what is hard is to go wrong with a Desigual good. I just got my very own desigual coat and it was so difficult to choose from!

New Buy

Being sensitive to smell is so bad, some of the most awesome perfumes are beyond my reach as it can cause me some bad headache ! And finding the right perfume can be a tiresome job! 

When I saw the adverts for ’Lola by Marc Jacobs’ way back I was hoping I could use it and I am so happy to say that I can.  The smell is soft, fruity, floral and feminine without being too strong !  

And the bottles are so gorgeous with the new pink tint ! They would look awesome in anyone’s dresser !

Stretch Marks Be Gone

I have started a new fitness regime and began to notice my skin begin to form faint lines. This can happen to anyone at any age, and it is best to start young and take precautions against developing stretch marks. It is said that once they form it is really difficult to get rid of it, so the best way is to keep on loading up on Moisturizer when you begin a new regime or begin to gain weight and keep them at bay.

Here is a homemade recipe I am currently using to battle the marks !

Ingredients :

1. Palmer’s Coco Butter oil

2. Bio Oil

3. Jojoba Oil

4. Vitamin E

Mix equal halves of these products and use it as lotion right after shower ! (this is the best time as the warm water would have softened your skin and it absorbs the products right away)

Has it worked, It has been only a while and you have to be patient ( sorry, no miracle cure ) but I have noticed that it is not spreading and becomes lighter with repeated use. I have been doing this for about 2 weeks now and it surely stopped the formation of these fugly marks!

Incase you are wondering about break outs, I have oily skin too and this has not caused any break outs for me but always make sure to try a small patch before following it !

So give it a try, and also be ready to embrace super soft skin as these oils moisturize your skin so much leaving it really baby soft !

A Month and More

It has been a month since I began blogging, ( One month and 10 days to be precise) and it has been a beautiful experience. I got to learn so many new things and also loved expressing the things I love to anybody who came by ! The fact that my attempts to help restore my Hair Health has helped so many readers makes me feel awesome ! 

I can’t thank you enough for coming back to read my thoughts and views and I want to tell you I appreciate it so much !!

My love for fashion began early on and I always liked to pick unique and bold things to wear or accessories. The craze for fashion was sealed with Gone With The Wind ! Surprised? Scarlet O’Hara looked so amazing with her sense and love for fashion that precedes even her own being ! Loved that movie and fell in love with everything beautiful from then !

Yayy or Nayy

So we all got to see some fabulous dresses for the Emmy’s and some of them was indeed gorgeous. And others were well a far cry. And then we have some which some cheered on and others just didn’t quiet know how to react.

What do you think of this look?  She looks stunning in the Pucci dress and I love the lace and sheer combination but the bare midriff makes me a little uncomfortable,but on Gwyenth it looks lovely ! When she walked into the stage to announce the winner all eyes were glued on her and boy did she look great, but I wish they could have styled the bare midriff with better detailing or even better some thing else !

She undoubtedly looks beautiful but the  Armani Prive dress has takes a lot of boo’s, what do you think ? Is it the shimmer or the stitch line in the front of the gown that riles you ?

Velvet Eyes

When volume mascaras dint give us the doe eyes, we switched to fake lashes and boy did they work ! So if you are struggling with getting the perfect cat’s eye, worry not go luxe with Dior stick on velvet eyes. The next best thing to your own winged liners.

We were sold on nail appliques but I am not sure on these, I have not tried them yet and not sure I will because priced at USD 59, I prefer my own winged eyes. But if it is a big day and you want to make a statement it is worthy splurge!
