Hey All,

Its been so long and I have been away, neglecting my blog and almost everything else. But anyways getting back on, you can truly stay away now can you once you start a blog ! Sooo excited to be back and catch up on all the blog updates I have been missing.

What I am loving nowadays is bright color in everything …shoes, blouses and jewelery!

So here is a pic of a personal fav

And here is what I have not been doing so well, good balanced diet and Hair care ! I have already mentioned how paranoid I am about my hair. It was just  getting back to looking good when my neglect has left it dry ..I mean seriously dry !

All set to give my hair much needed TLC

TLC, I am loving right now:

Ingredients:

• 1 eggs
• 3 Tbsp coconut milk
• 1 Mashed Banana
• 2 Tbsp olive oil
• 1 Tbsp Yogurt

Directions:

1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl with a fork until combined.
2. Apply to slightly oiled  hair.
3. Allow to set for 30 minutes.
4. Shampoo and condition

PS: The banana is difficult to rinse out so be patient, and try to soak it out. It might feel greasy after a first shampoo but dont shampoo again, as it will dry out normally.

Back again and Amazing Istanbul

I am back and settled in well at my home here in US. I loved all the visits to all the amazing places and some great people !  I hope to catch up with all the blogs I have been missing for a month ( when I took a break, it was a complete break indeed).

Product I am loving

Hey everyone!

I am still traveling and have not forgotten my blog I am hoping to have complete computer access by this weekend and have more posts on the trip!

In the meanwhile I have to tell you about a product my sister got me hooked on!! Actually many people have been talking about this product and so far I am lovingggg it

It is the Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant. A superb exfoliant for daily use which does not irritate your skin and leaves your skin feeling great.

Pros :
1. Virtually no black heads, I swear.
2. Brightens skin.
3. Tightens skin.
4. Smoothens and evens out little bumps in the face.

Cons :
1.Pricey

I love this product and intend to continue using it for a month to actually see if there is a difference in my skin. A complete review on what I noticed will be posted then!

Onwards to Istanbul

Hey everybody!

I write this post sitting on the waiting lounge at the airport ready to board my flight to Istanbul

A trip long awaited, I will be gone for 1 week and after which I will be going to Dubai !! I am as excited as ever.

While in turkey I would not be posting but will do so as soon as I can.

1. The SeaWeed Moisturizer with SPF 15, I liked this better than the Vitamin C Moisturizer . It is not greasy at all and works great with no shine or oily residue.

2. Tea Tree Toner, Liking it especially for the black head around my nose. Still deciding if it is worth the $ 11 (it is a big bottle though)

Learning to Contour

I have been trying to perfect the art of contouring my face and really checking out many of the You tube gurus to learn just that !

I found some videos very helpful and thought to link them up here so all of you can have a look minus the search, if you have some little tricks dont forget to tell me ! The last video is really informative !!

Some pointers from me :

1.It is about the brush !!! It actually does matter a lot and you need a brush like the MAC 168 or 109 or a brush that has a tapering end(angled brush)

2.For highlight using fan brush helps for nice sheer placement.

3. Matte for oily T zone or pore problems and Cream blushes and highlight work best for normal to dry skin.
