Back again and Amazing Istanbul

I am back and settled in well at my home here in US. I loved all the visits to all the amazing places and some great people !  I hope to catch up with all the blogs I have been missing for a month ( when I took a break, it was a complete break indeed).

I first want to share some pictures of some places I loved in Turkey and Dubai (in my next post)

Product I am loving

Hey everyone!

I am still traveling and have not forgotten my blog I am hoping to have complete computer access by this weekend and have more posts on the trip!

In the meanwhile I have to tell you about a product my sister got me hooked on!! Actually many people have been talking about this product and so far I am lovingggg it

It is the Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant. A superb exfoliant for daily use which does not irritate your skin and leaves your skin feeling great.

Pros :
1. Virtually no black heads, I swear.
2. Brightens skin.
3. Tightens skin.
4. Smoothens and evens out little bumps in the face.

Cons :
1.Pricey

I love this product and intend to continue using it for a month to actually see if there is a difference in my skin. A complete review on what I noticed will be posted then!

Onwards to Istanbul

Hey everybody!

I write this post sitting on the waiting lounge at the airport ready to board my flight to Istanbul

A trip long awaited, I will be gone for 1 week and after which I will be going to Dubai !! I am as excited as ever.

While in turkey I would not be posting but will do so as soon as I can.
So, hope you miss me and will be back with loads of news from the middle east!

New Trials:

1. The SeaWeed Moisturizer with SPF 15, I liked this better than the Vitamin C Moisturizer . It is not greasy at all and works great with no shine or oily residue.

2. Tea Tree Toner, Liking it especially for the black head around my nose. Still deciding if it is worth the $ 11 (it is a big bottle though)

Learning to Contour

I have been trying to perfect the art of contouring my face and really checking out many of the You tube gurus to learn just that !

I found some videos very helpful and thought to link them up here so all of you can have a look minus the search, if you have some little tricks dont forget to tell me ! The last video is really informative !!

Some pointers from me :

1.It is about the brush !!! It actually does matter a lot and you need a brush like the MAC 168 or 109 or a brush that has a tapering end(angled brush)

2.For highlight using fan brush helps for nice sheer placement.

3. Matte for oily T zone or pore problems and Cream blushes and highlight work best for normal to dry skin.

An Obsession is it?

Rose gold watches have sure become an obsession with every fashionista sporting one ! I have for a while now longed the Micheal Kors watch, simply because they really DO have the best rose gold designs ! But with a price tag of over USD 250 and me not wearing watches much nowadays, I have not yet invested in these gorgeous babies ! But I literally dream of it!

When I see myself wearing a watch regularly (that is when I am working full-time ) I hope to make this one of my first purchases !

In the mean while, I was browsing around Macys, and I literally stopped on a run when I spotted a very similar looking and beautiful watch by Style & Co. It did bear a great resemblance to the Micheal Kors watch without looking cheap or like a duplicate, it had some character of its own ! and the it cost only USD 29 !!
